This piece is a site responsive sculpture where I wanted to react to the odd meandering electrical conduit that awkwardly interrupted the middle of the gallery wall. The stack of 9 plastic milk crates fit nicely into the nook delineated on the wall by the pipe with a tasteful margin above and to the right. This piece is an extension of Mining the Mind, Minding What’s Mine where I consolidated some of the materials in the mound into discrete compositions within each crate. Both pieces take direct inspiration from Donald Lipski’s project Pieces of String Too Short To Save.
