Cement casts of a Corvette tire tread, arranged into a capital for a column, altered wooden shipping palette

“The cement sculpture Corvette Capital imitates an architectural column when arranged back-to-back. The composite title refers simultaneously to Chevrolet’s luxury sports car and the word “capital,” hinting at the possible meanings of the noun as a city’s political core, financial wealth, or a nod to a staple architectural feature—the pillar.”
