“The piece Point of Entry is a process of embroidering quantitative information about my newly acquired clothing upon the clothing itself. This documentation is meant to trigger future conversations with inquisitive persons about the clothing that I wear and hopefully, in turn, the clothing they wear. Marking the day and place that a clothing item came into my life is a method to indicate the time I have spent with an item and then infer the importance that item plays on my identity.”
