“The Porous Borders Poster Project is a collaboration with Toby Millman, initially for the two day Porous Borders Festival in Hamtramck & Detroit, Michigan. The Billboard Poster Project invites people to make that billboard or sign they’ve always wanted to see in the neighborhood. Participants may keep and/or exhibit their sign in an open-air “gallery” or online at http://porousbordersposterproject.tumblr.com.”

The Porous Borders Poster Project used drawing and printmaking to open the door for conversations - those who stopped for short or long moments to draw or look at drawings and screen prints created on site also engaged with us and each other in conversations.
